Dry cleaning/laundry

I understand that with 100 days' sailing with SS, I earn free dry cleaning for cruises. As a newbie with them, can I purchase a dry cleaning/laundry 'pass' at the beginning of the cruise?

 

I know HAL offers this, but had never read about it here.

Sorry, dollymadison, the "freebie" is for laundry only...not dry cleaning nor pressing. It is still a great perk and I count on it! Bon Voyage.

No, dry cleaning is pay-as-you-go.

In the Silver Suites [which we had] and higher category of suites, laundry is free, however dry cleaning and pressing is not.

 

The do a very very good job with laundry, and do so in a timely manner.

The dry cleaninging/pressing, as stated elsewhere, is very timely. My wife had "formal" dresses pressed for $5/each.

 

The FREE laundry machines are on a first come/first serve basis. An iron is available. Bring your own starch.

 

Everyone was very polite about using the launderette and helping each other understand the settings.

 

2 washers and 2 dryers on Silver Shadow's deck 6 launderette.
