Evening attire--hot in here?

Second the motion -- I expected it to be chilly in Alaska, but was kind of surprised how chilly the Caribbean was (of course, it was January). I needed a sweater or sweatshirt every night to stay warm.

My experience is that for the way men dress, dining rooms in ships are usually comfortable. If ladies are dressed in sundresses or bare shouldered formal gowns, it can feel a bit chilly. A velvet jacket might be just the ticket -- you can always hang it on the back of your chair if your table is in a warmer spot of the room.

The show lounges can be cool for the ladies, too. On the Dawn and the Star, for example, there is an a/c vent on the back of every theater seat.
