New KAJO Posted July 22, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 22, 2004 Hello, I hope ( am sure ) you guys can help us. We are booked on the Grandeur, leaving from Baltimore, for the Bahamas. I now need to book my flight and I have two choices : a flight that leaves in Baltimore at 2.30 PM : I think I saw on these boards that you get off the Grandeur very late : is it possible to catch a flight at 2.30 PM at BWI ? I will not take a risk here ??? a flight that leaves in Baltimore at 3.40 PM BUT it is operated by 3 different carriers ( so we have to change 3 times ) and it is operated in the States by AIR TRAN : I have never heard about this company : is it OK ? Can I rely on it. In Europe we have never heard about it ( even my TA not ) Please give us your advice. Especially people that were on the Grandeur recently : how late can you get off the ship ? How long does it take from the pier to the airport ? Thanks a lot !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Arizona Cruz Chic Posted July 22, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2004 You will be fine with the 2:30 flight. Good luck and have fun! ***

PappaSiera Posted July 22, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 22, 2004 I would definetly think about arriving a day early, particularily if you are using 3 carriers to get here. If just one of your flights is delayed, or worse, cancelled, you would be stuck. Sorry, but I can't help much with Air Tran. They are a low cost airline that doesn't fly to my preferred airport.
