Star Princess Balcony Cabins

We were on the Star in December. We liked the ship/service very much. Our balcony cabin was on the Caribe Deck (BA). We selected the caribe deck because the balcony is much larger that on other decks. It was half covered, half open. People could peer down from above at the open section. This did not bother us. I guess the balcony was about 8 X 10 ish. Two chairs, two loungers, and a large table. We were on the port side, mid/aft. We heard a number of complaints from people who had starboad balconys regarding the sewage smell-especially those who were closer to the front. I would avoid the starboard side. The mini suite balcony's are even larger I think, but with slightly less privacly. We have no knowledge of the other balconyies. We were suprised at how few people used their balcony, other than when we were entering or leaving port.
