FLL Renaisance Plantation how far from beach?

Does anyone know how far it is to the beach from this hotel? Does this hotel provide shuttle service around town, or will we need to get a cab? Any suggestions what to see or do that's nearby? Good restaurants?

You'll be about 15 minutes from the beach. Nearby is the Sawgrass Mills Outlet Center, over 300 shops and restaurants. You'll need a cab.

It's 11.9 miles to drive from the hotel to the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort which is right on the beach. You are near to several large malls with lots of dining options both in and around each mall. I particularly like J Alexanders which is on Broward Blvd, just east of University Drive. http://www.jalexanders.com

 

Don't know whether they have a shuttle. A call to the hotel should give you your answer. All the information is on the Marriott website.
