Silver Streak Posted January 9, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2007 My husband and I are booked on a Sapphire Princess cruise/land tour (20 S) where we will be going to Prudhoe Bay. We are looking forward to seeing some things in Alaska that many other cruise/land tours do not offer. We do have a couple of questions though. When we are riding on the Dalton Highway to Coldfoot and then on to Prudhoe Bay , how do we get food to eat at noon time? Do we buy boxed lunches ahead of time or do they find a stop along the way where we can buy our food? Also, we will probably be packing a suitcase to hold the clothes we will be using for our cruise and another suitcase to hold the clothing we will be wearing for the land portion of our trip. Since we will be taking the land tour first, can we store the suitcase holding our cruise clothing somewhere so we don't have to carry it all over Alaska? I would appreciate any advice from anyone who has taken this Princess cruise/land tour.
Budget Queen Posted January 9, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2007 There is food in Coldfoot and at Yukon Crossing. You may want to bring your own supply as well.
