Family Hotel in Copenhagen

We will be staying in Copenhagen for 2 nights before we leave on Holland America's Rotterdam (39 day cruise)on Aug 10. My husband and I will have our 13 yr old daughter and 15 yr old son with us. We would prefer a hotel room that would take us all and would also prefer that the children are not sleeping together in a double bed. This is proving to be a difficult task. We have found a couple of hotels but have read that the area around Central Station is seedy and not appropriate for children. Is this true? Am looking seriously at Scandic Hvidovre. Does anyone know how easy and how expensive it is to travel with luggage from airport to this hotel and also to pier for cruiseship? Does anyone have any better suggestions?

Back in the 60´s and 70´s there was a red light district but there are still street prostitution in the the area but it is futher away from from the Central station.

 

The scandic hotel in Hvidovre is 8 km out of the city and it´s not easy to get into the center of Copenhagen with public transport (it takes 29 min. with bus 1A) and there is also a Freeway/Motorway close to the hotel that are noisy.

Hotel Copenhagen Island is maybe an option, right beside the Fisketorvet Shopping and Cinema Complex and the Dybbølsbro S-train station is next stop before the Central station.

Than you for your advice. I tried th Copenhagen Island Hotel but there is no vacancy again for a family of 4.
