One side of ship preferred for Mexican Riviera?

I have taken the Mexican Riviera cruise and recommend the starboard side.

Firstly, since day 1 at sea is rather cool, and day 2 is still not quite tropical, the sun feels good with shade being a bit uncomfortable. Since the ship is heading southeasterly, considering the winter sun, the port side balconies are shaded except in the early morning. On the other hand, the starboard balconies are in the nice warm sun from mid-day through the afternoon. The starboard balcony makes a great place to watch the sunset.

Secondly, on the trip back up the coast, you're mostly sailing at night when the starboard balconies are shaded. Also, the starboard side is facing the shore, giving a good view as you enter and leave the ports. The starboard side gets a great view of Land's End when leaving Cabo.

Hope this helps your decision.
