We are on our first day towards Fanning Island. We have been in Hawaii for a week now and the weather has been cloudy or raining. The ship has a good deal of motion from side to side. The staff has been friendly except from one waiter. Food has been good with a few exceptions.

 

Even though we new this was a older ship, I think it is in good shape. It is much smaller than I had thought and the lay out is so so. Our room is fine and we had plenty of storage area. The bathroom is about as small as they come.

 

If you are prone to motion sickness, this isn't the cruise for you.

Motion sickness may be due to the weather pattern you are in. Not good reports.

We were on her last Dec and not a drop of rain the whole 11 days, calm seas, excellent food and the ship is gorgeous. Hope you get to make it to Fanning--we were turned back after 2 days of steaming towards it...((sigh))
