Flagger,

Thanks for posting the great photos. Please post details about your excursion in MoBay. How long did you spend at the bird sanctuary? Did you do anything else in MoBay that you can recommend? What did this tour cost? Our kids would really enjoy this. Did you feel safe on this tour? Any info would be appreciated.

flagger - We also fed the Hummingbirds when we went to Montego Bay on the Freedom in Nov. Took quite a while before the birds finally came to feed, but it was well worth the wait. The drive up there was something else!

There is a thread going on the RCI board that you should put your pictures on. Here is the link:

Just for fun, identify this RCI pic location

Thank you so much for sharing your experience in Montego Bay with us.

We have travelled to Mobay twice - both times as a land vacation and stayed a week each time in a villa.

We loved Jamaica. The key is to get away from the cruise ship area and experience this island away from a crowd of tourists. Of course this is true of any port...... so many people hang around where all the vendors are and then post negative things because all they experienced was this environment.

We found the people to be very friendly (sometimes pushy but a simple smile and "I bought one of those last time I was here" did the trick :p ) and the scenery breathtaking in some areas..... we drove from Montego Bay to both Ocho Rios and the other way to Negril..... a little challenging since they not only drive on the left but like crazy people too ;)

Again, thanks.
