Which is best??

Tracy Arm is a 30 mile long scenic fjord that has the Twin Sawyer Glaciers at the end. Superior is to consider some NCL ships that offer a add on jet boat tour of the fjords- gets farther and closer. Do not book a Tracy Arm itinerary before mid June- IF getting to the glaciers is a priority, and even then it's a chance your ship still won't make it.

Glacier Bay is 70 miles in, you'll go by usually 4 glaciers, sometimes more. A wonderful scenery filled day.

I have sailed all the cruise glacier areas and my preference is always Glacier Bay. :)

BQ is absolutely right. While Tracy Arm is very scenic, the "Twin Sawyer Glaciers" are pretty mundane. OTOH, Glacier Bay is an absolutely stunning place and a World Heritage Site. There is no comparison. Glacier Bay is a MUST SEE for a first trip to Alaska, IMHO.

You can see our pictures of both at our cruise link below.

Have a GREAT cruise!
