terrierjohn Posted January 16, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2007 As our cruise gets closer I keep viewing the Millenium webcam, just to get an advanced appetiser. However I never see anyone on the seats around the heli-pad which you see on the webcam, is this area accessible or not?

The captain did open it up for viewing while we were on the Summit passing through the Panama Canal.

joeinsb Posted January 17, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 17, 2007 TerrierJohn is right. On Summit the helipad was open during our Panama Canal transit. But to access it meant walking through the crews quaters and stepping over some pretty tall doorsills while traversing steep stairs. Great view though!:)
ali-ali-oh Posted January 17, 2007 #5 Share Posted January 17, 2007 They open it up for Hubbard Glacier as well when you go to Alaska, but other than that, it's off limits.
Coolcruise02 Posted January 17, 2007 #6 Share Posted January 17, 2007 They opened it one sea day on our Hawaii cruise. The captain was there to meet & greet at noon.
