tipping for 6 month old

we have been on many cruises, this is the first with our 6 month old, and I'm not sure about tipping for her, do I tip the same as an adult? any help appreciated.

I would say, yes.

 

There are still services that the cabin steward and wait staff (even if you do not go to a formal dining room) will be performing that will assist you in the care of the baby.

Yes, from all the recomendations I have seen in regards to tipping, if you are tipping, for instance, $3 per person per day, then that does include the children in the cabin.

NCL includes the child in the tipping regime, it's 50% the adult rate. (You can opt out if you want).

Yes, I agree with everyone else that you should tip for the baby, as well.

I too agree with the previous poster, sometimes having a baby in the cabin is 'more' work for the cabin steward.

I agree that you tip the same amount. With a child you alway make extra request like maybe blowing up a baby pool.

We had a six month old on our last cruise on the Valor and Carnival did not add the tip to the S&S card for her like they automatically do for eveyone else. It was left up to us what to tip on her behalf, so we did so in cash to the room steward.
