Ft. Lauderdale HOTEL

hi all, we were flying into fll on feb 24th for a cruise for feb 25th, however we were not going to get in til 9 pm, we now changed our air to come in on friday the 23rd so we could start our vacation a day earlier, now we need a room so i called the sheraton (where carnival is putting us up for sat night since we got airfare from them) and they want $299:eek: for the night. does anyone know a nice clean hotel for under $150 at the airpot area.

Try Sleep Inn, Extended Stay Inn, Residence Inn, not sure what they we will be, but you can give them a try! Good Luck!

Go to hotwire.com and click on Ft. Lauderdale downtown area. There is a 4 star that comes up for around $115. That's the Renaissance Inn. A very nice hotel, right across from the pier. Lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance.

We're also sailing on the Liberty 2/25. There's a roll call going on the CC message board if you haven't already joined.

We're coming in on the 24th and staying at the Hyatt Pier 66 - but are getting it with points. We're booked at the Sheraton post cruise for just a little less tan you quoted. Others on the board have posted that they got it for $169 using priceline. I may look into that to get us a better rate. Good luck.
