Coffee pot in room?

I don't suppose there'd be a little coffee maker in the rooms on Galaxy. We're sailing out of Rome and it would be great if I could pickp a package or two of Illy to make in our room. If I could get a tiny electric coffee maker, would it be against any rules to make it in my room? I guess I'm remembering dorm days in college when you couldn't have a hot plate ;)

I don't particularly want to lug a coffee maker with me across the Atlantic (in fact it feels a litle preposterous) but neither can I drink the dirty water they'll serve on board and it just seems a shame not to take advantage of being able to pick up some Illy in Rome.

Coffee pots in your room are specifically prohibited, in writing. You can find this in the Celebrity brochure rules.

You could buy a French press pot, and have room service bring you hot water in a thermal pot and make your Illy coffee that way.
