cruisin'sz Posted January 20, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2007 We're leaving on the Dawn Thurs, Feb 8. What day can we expect it to start warming up so we can sit outside?

Welove2cruise2 Posted January 20, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 20, 2007 We've sailed three times out of NYC (late October, late November/early December) and found all three times that we could be out on deck in shorts on the afternoon of the first sea day (once you're down near Cape Hattaras). On the way back, we found the last sea day that it was too cool and windy to be on deck after noontime. Enjoy your cruise! We love the Dawn!:D
qdog123 Posted January 20, 2007 #5 Share Posted January 20, 2007 We were on the dawn for the 3/16/06 10 day cruise and we were out sunbathing the afternoon of the first sea day. Temperatures when we left NYC were in the low 30's.
seafeet Posted January 22, 2007 #6 Share Posted January 22, 2007 Same here, we've been on the Dawn leaving NY in February. Once around the 10th and another on the 22nd. By 1:00 pm the following day you could sit out on the Deck and catch the sun. Hey, but don't wait till then, the hot tubs are ready and waiting so use them in the am while everyone else is walking around in their sweatsuits! Enjoy! Dolphins Posted January 22, 2007 #7 Share Posted January 22, 2007 Most times you will be in the pool during the 2nd sea day because you will be off the coast of Florida. Unless Florida is getting a rare cold snap.
