"Mardi Gras" on board

I just realized that our Feb 18th sailing of the Veendam will include "Fat Tuesday". Does anyone know if the ship will have anything special?

I have been on a HAL ship twice during Mardi Gras, and absolutely no mention was made of the event. We wore some beeds to dinner and I think we were the only people who did.

I wouldn't expect anything particular for Fat Tuesday.......Just being aboard an HAL ship is special enough for me. :) I'm not sure all that many people would be looking for anything out of the ordinary.

I have been on board once maybe twice during Fat Tuesday. I don't recall anything special taking place.

Thanks for the replies. I just thought that since it was a fun type of day, maybe they would do something. I guess I'll leave my beads at home.

 

Time to go out and clear the driveway from the couple of inches that fell this afternoon (before the rest comes tonight).

We were on Noordam's inaugural last year for Mardi Blah.

I wore a purple dress, we both had brought our masks & beads. Jazzy was pumped & raring to go, but alas, no one else was. The disco that particular night was dead as a doornail. Haven't a clue as to why. :confused:

A couple of kids noticed my beads & liked them, so I gave them away, no exposure required. ;)
