resort close to peir

we will be in cozumel in september,my husband is going to go see the ruins.any suggestions for a nice resort close by for me and my 3 year old?any aquariums?

There are 3 piers in Cozumel. Which ship are you on?

 

There are no aquariums in Cozumel. There's a restaurant called Acuario, that has some fish tanks, that's the best we can do... sorry.

we will be on the mariner

The Mariner generally docks at the International pier, a short walk (5 minutes) to La Ceiba/El Cid hotel. I have heard they charge an entrance fee, but if you walk in and plop down, no one should bother you. Be sure to order food and drink while you're there, preferably as soon as you arrive.

one more question......all this paradise beach talk,is this somewhere i could bring my 3 year old for a short time?how far from the international peir?any playground equipment?

No playground, but there's a water trampoline and floating mats to help you get out there. Calm waters and white sandy beach. It's a real favorite! $12 cab ride each way from your pier.
