Don't book this (these) rooms

we had gotten a past guest rate. I am not sure how I would go about finding a better price then this. It is about 150 less pp then the normal rate. Also, I was looking at other decks and there are rooms on the corners of the ship that have obstructed views. Would this be better then the current cabin (2300) ex of cabin (1004)

1004 is a handicapped cabin and the beds do not get pushed together.

Any time you see a * in the cabin number that means the beds sit headboard to headboard.

 

We had friends that had a cabin like this on the Empress deck-

what is good with the cabin-- you walk outside your door and to the end of your hallway will be a door that takes you outsite. so its like having a balcony without the price tag. BUT this balcony is a public area and people will be up there with you- VERY few people on the ship know that area is available to them and they dont go there.

In order to keep that room, they thought that my traveling partner and I could move from 7295 to 7291, book their kid with us, then simply have the kid sleep in their room after boarding.

 

What is the probability of Carnival enforcing this fire policy and making the kid stay with us?

 

Also, being that 7291 sleeps 3 or 4, will 7295, our original room, be noisy if a family of 4 kids indeed moves into that room?

7298 is a category 11 suite-- it does hold 3 people- ask the agent to recheck the deckplans. Not all cat 11 suits on the corner hold 3 people--but this is one that does.

OR book with someone else.

7295 only holds 2 people and is a cat 8 7291 sleeps 4 people

 

you can move around people once onboard.

Thanks for your reply. This is an outstanding resource. I was mistaken, it was 7347 that they are booked for, which I assume cannot have more than 2 people in it technically. But, it is good to know that you can move around people ultimately. Hopefully this will make everyone happy.

People do it all the time- Carnival has a rul in place that kids cant be booked in a cabin without an adult--so for booking purposes one adult is booked into a cabin with each child-- they get onboard and switch cabins- and ask for a extra key at the pursers desk.

Just make sure the luggage is tagged to go to the correct room. Dont want to waste time delivering luggage that belongs to someone else.

 

No one is gonna check the cabins after lights out.

you are far enough from the atrium that you wont hear noise. You can ask for your divider on your balcony to be opened to make it longer- you make your request at the pursers desk

Was Wondering If The Cabins On The Majesty OTS On Deck 2 Are ALLright To Stay In?

We Have Cabin #2559 But I've Never Stay In An Inside Cabin Except Once And It Was Bigger And On The 5th Floor.

 

Will I Here Too Much Noise Of Any Sort And Will The Moment Of The Cabin Be Much Different Than On The 5th Deck?

 

It's Only For 3 Nights So I Can't See Getting A Balcony Unless It Would Be 5 Or More Nights.

i am really looking into getting out of the connecting cabin (2300) I see that there is a cabin 9202 that is available, I dont see that it is a handicap room. Is this a good choice?

9202 is a long walk to the food/pools- but you are situated by a public deck that you can use as your balcony- People can be out there-- but not many people know about it. between your two choices-- 9202 is the better one

 

There are other cabins available too-

2401.

2389 2331 all good choices. 2401 is the better choice .

thre really isnt a bad cabin on a cruise ship-

 

The rooms used to be 6E cabins with floor to ceiling windows and holds 4 people. But carnival sees a priofit to be made and is changing the ships with these 6E's to balcony cabins.

 

what cat is the freedom selling these cabins?

I talked to my friend and she really would rather stay in a room on the riviera or main deck with an ocean view more towards the center of the boat. Is there any cabins you may be able to suggest? I am not sure how full the ship is at this point. I tried to look on the website how you suggested and that is where I found some of the other rooms.

Since you have not sailing in an inside before=== it IS EXTREMLY dark 24 hours a day-- and you could sleep a good deal of the day away- take an alarm clock or set your phone for a wake call.

 

4 people in an inside cabin-- an over the door shoe holder is what saved my sanity. take one and use it...:D it helps keep the clutter in the room down.

Serene, thanks! I looked at some deck maps and found we're above some bars and such, but I'm hoping all is well.

 

We'll definitely take an alarm... we have excursions beginning early a.m. and don't want to miss them. The only way I could get hubby to agree to the cruise was to go inexpensively. After he cruises, I know he's going to want balcony the next time, so we'll do what we can on this one. :)

 

Though, we are only 2 in this room. The TA helped me pick it because she said it would offer more storage with those "tuckaway" beds. ;) I could never do 4 in a room, personally!!! Ack!

My first cruise was done in an inside cabin-- there were 5 of us-- me,

13, 15, 17 & 19 year old kids. It was a great adventure for us all.

 

you wont even notice the nbeds=== they wont be let down unless you need them=== store your luggage UNDER the beds.
