Rental car for Airport Wyndham

We are arriving on Friday afternoon around 4:00 and are staying at the Airport Wyndham. We want to see Ft. Lauderdale. Would it be better to rent a car for a day or should we just take taxis. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Rent the car. Car rentals in Florida are dirt cheap. Will definatly give you more flexibility. Enjoy Fort Lauderdale it's a great city.
