dmarch@islc.net Posted February 1, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2007 Anyone know what time you can board in the A.M.? We will be dropping off passengers. Can we just pull right up to the ship like the cabs do in Miami? Any tips would help. Thanks, David
debnjimpa Posted February 1, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2007 I've ready that it can be as early as 11, but it is suppose to be for 1. Hope that helps. We are shooting for noon on the 17th.
Arwenmark Posted February 1, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 1, 2007 I am heading over there at 11 am this Saturday morning. your traveling passengers will need to show tickets and all of you must show ID when entering the gate. At least that is what I was told by NCL.
osiebosie Posted February 1, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 1, 2007 We drove in, dropped off the luggage, and then we were directed to the warehouse to park the car. It will cost $105. We then were shuttled from the warehouse to the ship, not a long ride, and enjoyable. You can ask any number of people about how to drop someone off. Ralphinsc Posted February 2, 2007 #5 Share Posted February 2, 2007 If your passengers can lug their own luggage 100 yards or so, you can drop them off at the end of Market street where it meets Concord street and save waiting in the entire car line. That's where the car line ends and the porters take luggage and load the people onto small buses for a ride over to the passenger terminal. The gates ussually open at about 11am. Walking up is certainly the quickest way to get from car to cruise ship. I made the mistake of sitting through the wait in the car line last time. Felt pretty silly watching folks walk up from the curb when I and many others had just sat through fourty-five minutes of slow moving traffic unneccesarily. osiebosie Posted February 2, 2007 #7 Share Posted February 2, 2007 We got there around noon, and there was no car line at all. I guess there is a rush when the docks open. Shay
