:confused: Wondering about sending/receiving e-mails on Zuiderdam. Is there internet access on Zuiderdam...cost to use... is it worth bringing own laptop?

Info appreciated.

Yes you can send and receive emails. In the internet cafe, you can $borrow$ a desktop computer. If you have a laptop with a wi fi card in it, you can access the internet in a few public areas in addition to the internet cafe. We always bring our laptop. Last vista class cruise was summer 05 and I believe the first package of minutes of use was around $75.

AIRC it was the same price. Wifi access was limited to just a few areas, basically the library and (I think) the atrium. Access is fairly slow and ran about 50 cents a minute, depending on the package you purchase.

 

The Itnernet area has been recently upgraded and is perfectly beautiful. There is a pic of it on our page
