moosetracks17 Posted February 6, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 6, 2007 Hi all, Im trying to figure out how to decorate my door for VISION OF THE SEAS ALASKA MAY 11, 2007. Can anyone tell me if the Vision has magnetic doors? Or what material I can use to stick stuff to the door (IE- puddy, tape, etc). Also, I want to decorate the cabin for my BF's graduation celebration.... can I arrange this with the cruise line or do I just have to race to the room before him? erin_cruisers Posted February 6, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2007 The doors are steel, and so magnets will stick to them fine. You could use tape, but I'll bet the stateroom attendants frown on that as it could leave a messy sticky residue. We made our own signs, and took cheap flexible magnetic strips (dollar store) that held them on. They stayed up there a few days (eventually people rip them off). We use a magnetic backed plastic clear insert from staples/Office depot, about $4 or $5. Print out a new insert for each cruise.
pay in your Med i care Posted February 7, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 7, 2007 We've used Dollar Store scrapbook stickers - they work great and don't appear to leave residue - only problem is that the really cute ones have had a tendency to "walk off". mcarnett Posted February 7, 2007 #5 Share Posted February 7, 2007 We use Magnet tape for our Cruise Critic sign. YOu can cut into any lenght you want. Very convenient. One side sticks to your sign and the other side is maagnetic. Mike
