Obstructed viev cabins: Star Princess E712 & E714...

I'm looking at Star Princess E712 & E714 cabins. There is no lifeboat in front of the windows on the deckplan, but I understand that category E is supposed to be 'partially obstructed'.

Does anyone know how obstructed these cabins actually are?

If you have any pictures, please post them. Thank you.

Hi,

I haven't been on your ship, but on the Caribbean Princess last June and my husband and I were on the Emerald Deck with a "partially obstructed" view. There was NO OBSTRUCTION AT ALL!!! We had a perfectly fine view. There was life boats to the right and left, but not blocking our view at all. This March we are sailing on the Grand and we got 2 rooms and one of them says "totally obstructed" while the other says "partially obstructed". The one has no life boats in site, but my TA says that Princess couldn't confirm this and said that the deck plans are not necessarily to scale. Good luck!! :)
