what is your favorite food to order for room service to enjoy on the balcony?

 Before you go to sleep fill out the provided 'door hanger' with your choices for breakfast...choices of food and of time of delivery. There will be a phone call to alert you that they are coming. (We give our attendant or butler a $20 when they make the first room service delivery. That way they know that their attentions will be rewarded.) There are a few lines on that breakfast order form where you can write in special instructions, like, 'blueberries, two bowls, 4 peanut butters, two waffles with blueberries, to give some examples of special non-menu items we have ordered.

There is a 24 hour menu in the big black services book provided...I recommend almost anything on that menu...the dishes are all wonderfully prepared, tuna sanwiches, pizzas, all good.

Dinner on the balcony is especially wonderful. They will come in with a tablecloth first, and we always move our flowers out to the table (as long as it isn't as windy as I am getting here), and we'll have champagne or wine with dinner. You order off the regular dinner menu during dinner hours, which includes both main and late seating, and let them know when you wish to be served. If you wish, they will serve the courses separately, but we usually have appetizer, soup and salad all brought at the same time, then the entree(s)(--go ahead, order two if you're really hungry--), and then dessert and coffee or tea.

Ahhh...the memories. We got back from a Galaxy 11 nighter on Feb 2...:D

When my husband felt he was coming down with a head cold he ordered several servings of chicken soup. He enjoyed it very much. One of the soups --maybe it was clam chowder?-- came in a bread bowl. Tasty but not v hot, or maybe cooled too quickly.

One of the yummiest snacks is the quesadilla with guacamole--yum. You can get choc chip from room service when not available by the pool. You can also order a pot of hot water and hot chocolate packets. If you want to spike your choco, all the beter for an afternoon snooze ;)

Bon voyage!
