mesquite Posted February 9, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2007 I am traveling on the Oosterdam 3/17 - 3/24 and need to take my c-pap machine. Are there normal electrical plugs next to the beds?
MercedMike Posted February 9, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 9, 2007 I am traveling on the Oosterdam 3/17 - 3/24 and need to take my c-pap machine. Are there normal electrical plugs next to the beds? There are normal 110 volt plugs in the cabins, but often it is only one plug and not next to the bed. I travel with 2 x 15 foot extension cords and some electrical tape in my CPAP bag and usually the cabin steward will help me string it around to the end table. (I also travel with a transformer and adapter plugs for international use -- it is possible for some reason you might find yourself in a foreign hotel and need them.) Have a GREAT cruise! dakrewser Posted February 9, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 9, 2007 Most CPAPs are dual-voltage (check the label on yours). Cabins have a 220-volt outlet as well, with a European plug (2 round holes). I carry a European extension cord and plug converter with me for on-board use.
PathfinderEss Posted February 9, 2007 #5 Share Posted February 9, 2007 There is never enough plugs for all the electronic equipment we carry with us and ofcourse there never where you need them, so we always carry power strips with us.
IKE Posted February 9, 2007 #6 Share Posted February 9, 2007 We also bring along a power strip for use in our cabin.
