Question About Legend Deck 7 Aft Balconies

Anyone Have Information About Problem With Soot From Legend's Chimney On Aft Balconies.

I took a 12 night cruise to Hawaii on the Legend in an aft cabin. No problems at all. It was great.

We were in the center aft cabin on the Legend of the Seas for a 7-night cruise in January 2006. We had a terrible problem with large flecks of black soot the entire cruise. Our cabin attendant explained to us that the reason there are no chaise lounges on any of the aft balconies is because they can't keep them clean with all the soot. On the first morning, we started eating breakfast on the balcony and our food got covered in the soot, so we couldn't eat out on the balcony for the rest of the cruise.

We too had a center cabin, can't recall the deck but it had a small table, 2 chairs and 2 lounge chairs. we even hung out our laundry to dry on sea days without a single problem!

 

We just got back from the southern carib on the Seranade and we again had an aft cabin. And again it was just perfect.
