Early arrival Hotel Continental Buenos Aires

When disembarking in Buenos Aires, and arriving at hotel approx 9:30am I know we will have to store luggage until checkin time. Does anyone know from experience at the Hotel Intercontinental if they let you have access to safe deposit boxes at front desk before checking in? Would like to get around town without lugging jewelry and so on in back pack.

 

Also upon checkout there is a period of 4-5 hours before going to airport. Do they allow use of safe deposit box until leaving/

I have emailed hotel twice in past month with no reply.
