What's the differnce in a 8A and a 8C stateroom?

Same thing, just different floors.

The 8 stands for the cabin style and the letter for the deck.

Except for 9A's & suites,they can be on any level.

The cabins are the same, but if you can get the 8c during a sale and pay for the 8a. Then the 8c is worth it, but I wouldn't really see any real reason to pay for the differents in the two.

Since the OP was posting on a Carnival board and Carnival has 8A and 8C, we assumed she meant Carnival.

On Spirit class ships 8C's have oversized balconies. On Conquest class ships 8C's are the same as 8A's only they are located 2 decks higher.

i'm sorry i didn't know i was on the carnival board. we did a few cruises on carnival, and i didn't remember the room numbering. we do alot of rccl cruises (5-6 per year) and i do know their room numbering. sorry again. Mr & Mrs Phish Tales :) :) :)

rccl has c&a society. the more cruises you do the higher your statis thus greater perks.!!!! does crl have something similar????????? Phish Tales :) :) :)

You get a pretty gold card on your second cruise but really no perks until you hit cruise #10.
