Princess Asian Ports

Hi All,

 

When we cruised Asia and some since I noticed that there was a far amount of discussion about the port docks. I created this site to show what each of the ones we stopped at looks like.

 

Keep in mind that we were on the Diamond, a grand ship. So some of the smaller ships may dock elsewhere in each city. The Sapphire is about the same size, the Pacific is smaller.

This is a great site you put together and it sure was a lot different than our ports - we were on the Pacific. In Nagasaki, we were way outside the city and had to take a shuttle in, but in Hong Kong we docked right beside the Star Ferry and in front of a four-story mall. The joke was that some folks never even got out of the malls.

Glad you like it. I did it when we got back in 2005. It has been out there but I haven't kept its posting up to date on this board.

 

I thought it might help after reading some of the posts.

 

I can tell you enjoyed it as much as we did.

 

Love to go back again and do more. Maybe not a cruise, just land travel.

Thanks cruisinlivin. Your pix are quite informative. Now I have an idea of what to expect. We'll be on the Sapphire in November with the same ports as you did. Do you recall if Princess had shuttles in all the ports to take pax in to the city centre?
