hubofhockey Posted February 13, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 13, 2007 Prices on shore excursions will come up after your cruise is fully paid. Be prepared for sticker shock.
sealpup Posted February 13, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 13, 2007 If you go to the Port of Call board you can find out what others used. When we sailed in Sept I book through private companies online and saved a lot of money but also noticed that when you get off the Ship there are always people there waiting to take you are a excursion if you have not booked one
Legend Posted February 13, 2007 #5 Share Posted February 13, 2007 Actually you only need a full deposit to book excursions.
cruisin' scrapper Posted February 13, 2007 #6 Share Posted February 13, 2007 Sass, have you registered on the Carnival website yet? You need your booking number for it to show your reservation. After you register & add your booking number, you can log in & view your cruise. There's a place for you to view excursions for each port & when you click on "Book", it'll show you the price. Or, if you prefer, you can use private tours, which are cheaper. Like sealpup suggested, check out the Ports of Call boards to see who other people have used and recommend. The one thing to keep in mind when using a private company, is the time/length of the tour. If something happens to cause you to be late getting back to the ship, they won't leave without you if you're on a ship excursion. HTH,
