Arlight...not the typical shareholder question...

Recommended Posts

Sorry if this has been asked but...

According to the FAQ at http://www.rclinvestor.com it's saying that if you want to use your shareholder benefits, you must book before May 1, 2007. Are they taking away these benefits? Are they increasing them? Just wondering if anyone out there knew what was going on.

Every year they reevaluate whether to continue the OBC benefit. Usually sometime in April they announce whether or not it will continue. Any cruises booked before the deadline will be honored if they should determine to discontinue the benefit.

I have not heard a word about RCL ending this program. I have utilized it many times over a number of years. Each year, they 'print' a new letter with the new date to be sent with the annual report. And each year they change the date for that current year.

Note, that the current form letter states that it must be applied for bythat date, not that you have to cruise by that date.

Last week, I sent in documentation for a cruise in June and a cruise in Novemeber. Within 24 hours of my sending in the documentation, the on board credits were recorded on my reservations.

It is one of the best perks RCL has going and is also applicable to Celebrity which is also owned by RCL.
