SnoBirdCruiser Posted February 19, 2007 #26 Share Posted February 19, 2007 Ragnar,That is known as hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. You must have been a Boy Scout---you know---always be prepared!!! There must be a Lobby bar like the Crystal Cove. What time does the Mariner lounge open:confused: ? If there are a number of us they'll open for us.We can only ask--Pat.
esther e Posted February 20, 2007 #27 Share Posted February 20, 2007 Or the Obervation Lounge which I think is always open. Should we plan on that, regardless? Due to the large number of us, we may not be able to a) find enough seats, or b) hear one another outside at the pool bar. Your thoughts??? SnoBirdCruiser Posted February 20, 2007 #28 Share Posted February 20, 2007 Observation Lounge sounds good to us.After all how can we talk if we're competing with music from the band? There IS a band at noon and a BBQ right? Oh I goofed :o I'm not 5'2"--that was my mother---I'm 5'3".Hey inches count when your short.Cheers,Pat and Ray
esther e Posted February 20, 2007 #29 Share Posted February 20, 2007 O.k., let's do the Observation Lounge at 1:00 on Thursday, the 15th, first sea day. Here's who I have: Peter and Esther Bill Ragnar Pat and Ray Dan and Sherry Jeanne Bruce and Susan Piatty Did I forget/miss anyone? Does anyone know if Regent does nice things for the CC parties, or are we on our own? Esther
SnoBirdCruiser Posted February 20, 2007 #30 Share Posted February 20, 2007 ;) Ask and thou shall receive---or something like that. I will tell the F&B manager that we require a few things for a meeting of kindred souls for a 1pm get together in the Observation Lounge or you can, whoever. Any special orders? esther e Posted February 20, 2007 #31 Share Posted February 20, 2007 That would be nice, Pat. Thanks for offering. I have no preferences, but since it's all inclusive, how about a tower of shrimp, cavier, French martinis, a bottle of Dom....

Ragnar Danneskjold Posted February 21, 2007 Author #35 Share Posted February 21, 2007 If no caviar is provided, I'll probably spring for an order or two (but Lady D. will probably eat it all, so be quick and watch your fingers, lest Lady D. mistakes them for blinis...). I've heard this can be set up, as well as tours of the galley and the bridge. I think you sign up at the main desk.

SnoBirdCruiser Posted March 3, 2007 #49 Share Posted March 3, 2007 I've done the galley tour on the Voyager last year.It was part of the Cordon Bleu cooking class.Fantastic tour.I'd like to see the engine room, bet its as clean as the galley and IT was pristine. PS they keep the liquer and the caviar locked up at all times so no sampling, sorry Lady D.:) Pat
