Millenium Hairdryers?

Concierge balcony cabins provide hand held blow dryers but a standard balcony does not. I didn't know this and was very disappointed on our last Millennium cruise that the only dryer was the one attached to the bathroom wall. IMO they do not work as well as a hand held blow dryer. If your SIL has a small travel dryer, I recommend taking it. If not, she could do what I did. I put $5 in my room steward's hand and asked for one.

Hope this helps.

I bring my own travel dryer. It's very small, (handle folds up) and is very powerful. The one on the wall seems to just blow semi warm air. I'm right handed and the blowdryer is attached to the left side of the wall. I felt like the cord was across my face.

One thing about bringing your own is........ it wont plug into the bathroom plug. She will have to use the plug at the desk. Same goes for curling irons etc.
