Passports taking longer than anticipated

It's been pretty much a given and general knowledge for over a year that when the new regulations went into effect, that there would be substantial delays of weeks, if not months. Even though people were given plenty of warning, most put it off or didn't think of it until it's almost too late. I'm not at all surprised that you're experiencing a delay. I would have expected it.

I agree with you 100%. Everyone has knowen about this for a long time. I read an article in our paper in Jan about I guy who wanted a passport the same day because he was flying to Mexico. I think some people think that their passports are going to majaclly appear on their doorstep. I am so glad I got mine a couple of years ago before all this madness started.
