Bringing your own wine on board

I've read some tips about taking wine bottles on a plane, packing them in bubble wrap and checking the luggage. Good tip, BTW, and we're going to give that a try.

My question is about getting the wine on board. Do you have take it on in a carry on bag, or can you leave it in checked luggage?

They will not stop you from bring wine on board. haVE pleasant cruise.

I have heard this before and I assume it is correct for wine (including champaign), but I do not think the same can be said for liquor. Is this correct?

Either way, but I recommend carry-on. Most luggage is soft-sided and provides little protection. Luggage is not handled as if fragile. Best of luck and have a great cruise.
