bunnybear Posted July 29, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2004 We need to stock up on some bottled water. Is there a store that is close by the port to buy water, wine, etc to bring on board? Is it walking distance or close by the train depot? Thanks so much. Karen from Houston

Budget Queen Posted July 30, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 30, 2004 These are a long walk with heavy bottles. Consider a $5++ cab ride back or the Seward Trolley- which does go to the ship dock.
Rare robbinsca Posted July 31, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 31, 2004 The Eagle Center was a little bit out of town, but had good prices. Everyone kept saying that the prices in Alaska were so outrageous. We didn't really find them all that more expensive than here in Southern California. Of course when my folks come to visit they always complain that our prices are too high......
