LilPony Posted February 21, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2007 A couple questions in regards to Identification and Excursions 1. When you all go on an excursion do you take orginal passport or will a copy and maybe your drivers license be sufficient ? 2. How do you store/carry your ID on snorkeling and water type excursions ? Thanks Lil
Sheffie Posted February 21, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2007 1. On excursions I take a small, laminated copy of my passport. 2. I put the copy of my passport, my ship's ID, and my $$ in my waterwallet. If I am on an excursion in a boat, I leave this on the boat, under my clothes, etc. in our backpack while snorkeling. If we are on a beach, the water wallets stay on our bodies, tucked into our swimsuits.
sstephy Posted February 22, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 22, 2007 Hi Michelle, Do you make a smaller copy of your passport or are they available for purchase somewhere? My passport is old and only one size, but I've read where many people talk about having a smaller laminated copy and am finally asking the question about it. Thanks a bunch! Steph. 1. On excursions I take a small, laminated copy of my passport.

Thanks a bunch! Steph. Stephanie, I used a copy machine to make a smaller copy; then I laminated it. If you work somewhere w/ a copy machine it would be easy. I bet you could have somewhere like Office Max do it if you don't have one available. If you don't have a laminator, you could always use clear contact paper. sstephy Posted February 22, 2007 #5 Share Posted February 22, 2007 Thank you SO much. I'm going out tomorrow and take care of it. So simple - I don't know why I haven't done it before now. Steph.
