Payments?

I have seen lots of posts about people making "payments" on their cruises.

 

Are there any payments due other than the deposit (which we have made) and the final payment (which we plan to make about a week before it is due?)

 

Are intermediate payments just ways of budgeting for some people? Or did my PVP forget to tell me something? (I don't plan to make any payments until I have to... that money in my bank earns me interest for my frou-frou drinks!

No, other than the deposit and final payment. Nothing else is required, I think some just like to send Carnival their money so they wont spend it on something else.

Yup I agree.. if you can hold on to your money until final do it.. but if not pay monthly helps out alot for the budget and planning:)

Also, on group cruises you generally make a $25 deposit, then down the road you pay the rest of the deposit, then the final payment... so perhaps that is what some have referred to.
