26Martini Posted February 23, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2007 Is there a separate menu for children at dinner? Just wondering because I have fussy kids:)
MercedMike Posted February 23, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2007 Yep, the kids can have old favorites like hot dogs and mac cheese -- but you never can tell what kids will do. Maybe you can encourage them to try something interesting, and promise a hot dog as backup if they don't like it! OTOH, you can figure the kids are on vacation too and just let them order three desserts!! ;o) Have a GREAT cruise!
CruiseJude Posted February 23, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2007 The kids' menu is quite varied so I don't think you'll have a problem. Some items offered on the kids' menu are chicken fingers, spaghetti and meatballs, hot dogs, hamburgers, macaroni and cheese, PB&J, grilled cheese, etc. They may want to order something off the regular menu too, so there's a lot to choose from. Epperbiker Posted February 23, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 23, 2007 Our 2 1/2 year old is a very picky eater and he never went hungry on our HAL Veendam cruise this past November. The crew was extremely helpful and attentive. Children's menus are available and the Dining room Magager always went out of his way to make sure our son was being taken care of. It all worked out better than we had anticipated. :)

RuthC Posted February 23, 2007 #6 Share Posted February 23, 2007 You don't have to be a child to order from that menu, either! :D Some nights you just don't feel like a big meal; something from the children's menu hits the spot. The gracious stewards will be happy to get you what you want. :)
