Rare steamboats Posted February 25, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2007 Hi all, I announced an update of our website several times. Now it´s finally finished. The Amadeus Amadagio and Amalegro are online now (fact sheets, schedule 2007 and photos of the Amadagio). Hope you enjoy it http://www.rivers-rails.com/boats-amadagio.shtml steamboats
Tennessee Vol Posted May 4, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 4, 2007 Do you happen to know if 110 volts AC outlets are available on the new Amadeus ships? Thanks
Rare steamboats Posted May 4, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted May 4, 2007 As far as I know the answer is: No All river cruise ships are built in Europe with European voltage and outlets. There might be a 110V outlet in the bathroom which is for shavers only. steamboats
winegirl Posted May 10, 2007 #4 Share Posted May 10, 2007 Just left this boat 4/29. You will need a converter.
retiredslug Posted May 10, 2007 #5 Share Posted May 10, 2007 I've been lurking for many months and it's time to express appreciation for all the information you've disseminated (had to check spelling on that one). We are booked on the Amadeus Amalegro for the Blue Danube Discovery cruise in September so we're closely monitoring your comments, especially relative to water levels. I must tell you that Munich is one of our all time favorite cities but unfortunately we only change planes there on our way to Budapest. Thanks again!
