Porthole cabins on Grand Princess

Has anyone stayed in the aft porthole cabins on the Aloha deck on Grand Princess (category C)? How big are portholes? Is noise by the pool a problem? Seems they charge a premium for these oceanview cabins, so I'd like to know if they're really worth the fee. Thanks!
