Fantasy April 2nd New Orleans

My sister-in-law and I are taking our children on the Fantasy for the 5 day cruise out of New Orleans. :eek: We were hoping to bring beer on in our suitcases. Any ideas as to where to buy beer close to the port? We are flying in and will not bring it from home. Just thought I would ask. If we can....great! :D If not....oh well!:o

Not familiar enough with NO to tell you where to buy it, but I am POSITIVE you will not have any problems buying it before your trip.

There is an A&P grocery at 700 Royal Street in the French Quarter. Not real cheap, but the best prices you will find in the downtown/French Quarter area.

As you're driving to the terminal, there's a small quick stop type store on your left. It's only about 2 minutes to the terminal from there. Prices are a bit higher, but it's convenient.:)
