canadiangirl77 Posted March 6, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2007 I'm sure someone else has asked this question but the board will NOT let me search for answers, it keeps giving me an error, yesterday, today, last week, I waited as long as I could?! SO the question is .. port or starboard on the inside passage? We are booked in a balcony cabin, and I just want to know which would be nicer? Port is left? Starboard is right?? Our cruise is on the NCL sun so it only goes into the Tracy Arm (of which we have booked the side excursion as well) .. I just need some advice Are there really any bad balcony cabins?? Thanks
Toyz711 Posted March 6, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2007 since you are going on the excurions...don't think it's going to matter. we had a port side, but that was to watch from our balcony for glacier bay.
kellywhitehills Posted March 7, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 7, 2007 Our TA suggested Port going south and Starboard going north....We shall find out which is better..:) if you can book a Corner Aft cabin It wont matter..

Budget Queen Posted March 7, 2007 #5 Share Posted March 7, 2007 It doesn't matter. At some point there will be viewing on both sides during the trip. :) But if you think you will be ill with an aft cabin, I still suggest you consider taking precautions. It's a myth that Alaska is smooth sailing, you can run into significant rough seas.
