Okay, I am looking for a formal that is not sexy, doesn't have a low back and a petite person can wear it. Does anyone know of any site that has something like this but doesn't cost over $200?

This is just from Bloomingdales. Try Saks, Nordstrom, Macy's. The sale prices they have on great stuff is wonderful, don't think you have to settle for Ebay or places like TJ Maxx for good deals. I've gotten better buys at major department stores than I have at JC Penney in the past.

ps: Also, don't limit yourself to just dresses. Separates and evening pants outfits work great for petites, too :)

Talbot's sale items are also nicely priced, and they come in petites AND women's sizes (as well as regular "misses") so everyone can shop there. (bigger selection online, often better prices in stores if you have one nearby)

Nordstrom is having a pretty good sale online on their dresses. I saw many very lovely things last night that were great prices.
