Sailing on POA 8/22 - Question #1 - ATVs

Aloha...

 

Been following the boards for about a month now. Sounds like a great group. Our family is booked on the POA 8/22 and I have a few questions I have not been able resolve yet and would appreciate any help. In return, I will post a review of our sailing come early September.

 

My wife and I have been to Hawaii before, but this will be the first time we have taken our boys (ages 17 and 18). We have already planned (although not yet booked) must of our land activities.

 

Question #1: On Kauai, is there a recommended ATV tour? There appears to be three companies operating tours, and I am leaning towards the Kipu Ranch Adventure. Any recommendations, or comments either way?

I used Kauai Backcounty to do the tubing the ditch. I quite impressed with the top notch gear, the guides, and the emphasis on safety. If I were doing zip, and/or ATV, I would seriously consider them.

I went through Backcountry for an ATV tour and had a great time. I was also impressed with the equipment and the guides. I wish we would have had time to do the zipline tour with them because I definitely would have. We did not do the Kipu Ranch Adventure though -- we did the one that made a stop at a waterfall. We had an amazing time!

We just back from the Wind and we did the Kipu Ranch ATV. We had a really good time and you saw amazing scenery that you would not be able to see any other way.
