Daylight savings time onboard.. still REALLY confused.

We are sailing on the Mediterranea on March 18th so the new daylights savings time schedule for the US will have started. But I understand other countries either start later or don't do it at all.

We are going to Grand Cayman, Roatan, and Cozumel.

Now does ship time STAY eastern daylight savings time or does it switch to "local" time as you move from port to port?

Does anyone know the + and - times local time will be from eastern daylight savings time for each of our three non-US ports??

I feel like I am trying to wrap my mind around some sort of "temperal mechanics theory" from Star Trek. This is all so confusing to me.

the ship WILL stay on local time; YOU will have to change your watch & alarm clocks appropriately. Just read the "Today" newsletter which will keep you informed. The excursion folks will be on Local (which = ship's time) so you won't miss anything. Remember, the excursion groups want your busine$$

Cozumel and Roatan will be 2 hours behind eastern daylight time.

(cozumel and roatan are on central time and will observe DST on april 1st and may 5th respectively, this year)

Grand Cayman will be 1 hour behind eastern daylight time.

(GC is on eastern standard time, all year long, they do not observe DST)
