Will My Portable Sirius Radio Work At Sea

Does anyone know if my portable Sirius radio will work at sea, or only when in port? Leaving tomorrow on a crossing to Hawaii and would love to keep up with the March Madness games.

Sirius coverage does not currently extend to Hawaii, as far as I know. They were trying to install repeaters, but the last I heard they still didn't have clearance from the FCC. You can read details on this web page

 

It should work en route. Coverage near Hawaii will depend on how good your antenna is. I've been told you will most likely lose the signal. See the coverage map below:
