Shore Excursion Suggestions

I'll be traveling on Explorer of the Seas on Aug 15. Anyone with suggestions on excursions that don't involve water or water sports. I'm more into hiking or going into towns. Also, are there any things for singles to do? Thanks.

You might get more responses if you head over the the Ports of Call boards. I was able to get great advise for booking excursions over there. Enjoy!

In Belize, take the jungle river cruise in combination with the Altun Ha ruins. We did this on the NCL Sky two years ago. It was great. Some singles on our trip really enjoyed it. Have you checked out what RCCL has on the excursion page of their web site?

We will be on the Explorer on the 15th also. We are thinking of going to the Monkey Farm in Costa Maya. I found out about it on cruise critic, under Costa Maya. Sounds interesting.

I will be on the EOS on 8/29, and I thought about the monkey farm in Costa Maya also, but I think I would rather do the ruins instead. I have seen the pictures and they seem to be nicer than the ones in Belize or Cozumel, and closer.
