cberge Posted March 15, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 15, 2007 I know I have posted a lot on this question and i don't know why it comes up all the time.Florence is a large city, there is PLENTY to do and see even if all the museums were closed which all of them are not. There are chuches, markets, bridges, scenic sights etc,and as the previous poster suggested there are other threads on this board re the same question.Would someone not go to NYC,Chicago etc. if the museums were closed...I don't think so.Enjoy Florence on a Monday...great city to visit. GSPLover Posted March 15, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 15, 2007 Pick up a travel pocket guide and you will find days and days worth of things to do. We've been to Florence dozens and dozens of times but I picked up (well, purchased) the "Insight Pocket Guide - Discovery Channel Edition." Excellent guide and includes a pull-out map.
